The Cosmich Simmons & Brown Diversity in the Law Scholarship was awarded to Bethany Green. Bethany is a second year law student at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. In addition to her stellar academic credentials, Bethany is an active member of the Moot Court Board, Black Law Student’s Association, and Phi Alpha Delta. The scholarship was presented at the school’s Law Day on Thursday, April 13, 2023 by Attorneys Brianna Bailey and Amorya Orr. The firm established the scholarship in 2018 to promote efforts to increase diversity in the practice of law.
